Packages updates

rnagy, maintainer of the Chrome package is doing a tremendous job at keeping it up to date in OpenBSD.

Unfortunately, things are a bit less bright on Firefox’ side: in January 2020, there was some uncertainty about be able to keep the non-ESR version up-to-date, which was at this time vulnerable to at least MFSA2020-03, because its too complicated to package it.

OpenBSD is also shipping a heavily outdated version of the Tor Browser Bundle, vulnerable to publicly documented vulnerabilities, with almost-off-the-shelf associated exploits.

But the vast majority of packages are kept up to date, which is impressive for such a small project!
